Welcome to the official website of the Dutch Light Aircraft Fly-in.

The 4rd Dutch Light Aircraft Fly-in will be held on

7, 8 and 9 September 2012 !!

What started as an initiative of a few enthusiastic Europa and RV owners grew out into a combined event, warmly supported by some of the most respected Light Aircraft associations in The Netherlands: NVAV , KNVvL and AOPA.
Although these great associations do support this initiative the original idea of a low key gathering where everyone is welcome will remain.

To be able to promote General Aviation in The Netherlands we called the initiative Dutch Light Aircraft Fly-in and the event is open to all classes of Experimental, MLA and General Aviation aircraft.

Texel Airport is in our opinion the best airfield for such an event because it’s the most friendly airfield in The Netherlands. The Island is situated in the North-West of The Netherlands, relatively small, equipped for tourism with average better weather than other parts of The Netherlands.

The event is open for all domestic and foreign GA, MLA and Home built aircraft !

Mode-S and ELT
Not being equipped with Transponder Mode-S will not be a problem, you are more than welcome at our 1st Dutch Light Aircraft Fly-in at Texel Airport !
Without a Mode-S transponder, just stay below 1200 feet QNH and stay out of CTR's and you will be fine !
Also stay out of the NSAA (North Sea Area Amsterdam) off the coast and over the North Sea, in this area a transponder mode-s is required, also below 1200 feet.
Flying along the coast below 1200 feet will keep you clear of these area's.
