ath Game Night- Activating Gifted Kids Potential
Math Game Night-Monday evening, December 6th. 6-8pm
We provided up to date information on Mathmatics education in AZ, nationally and globally. April Barnes- Renaissance Gifted Academy teacher shared math and the gifted learner along with her samples from the Lego Robotics competition entry and computers that her class entered this year for us to see the terrific style in which gifted education can bring excitment and study in so many areas with science and technology.
Educators and Kids will had hands on opportunities to play a variety of games including the five strands of math mastery.
Our treasurer Elaine Lai presented an introduction to Abacus and Singapore Math and discuss these methodologies.
Takeaways were made available for each center that covered the five strands of math mastery *Raffles of fun family games.
AS with all of our events they are open to the public
Membership is available at events for those that wish to support this local chapter specifically with a donation of $10 or as always, the full membership to Arizona Association for Gifted and Talented membership for $30 can be done here at this site online.

We enjoyed an evening of good company, listening to Dina Brulles, PhD, share her knowledge and experience with the cluster model in education for gifted children and their needs at the Esperanza Elementary Media Room.
