Saving Resources and Money

Amy Donovan, Program Director for the Franklin County Solid Waste Management District, will discuss the financial and environmental benefits of Solid Waste Reduction, Recycling, and Composting. 

The Story of Stuff, a short video by Annie Leonard, will be shown before Ms. Donovan's presentation.

Recycling conserves natural resources and saves money.

Future programs will address energy conservation and renewable energy options for home and business.

Deerfield has been selected to receive State support for the completion of energy audits for municipal buildings.

Don Chappell plans energy efficient renovations for the Deerfield Wastewater Treatment Plant.
