The short subjects shown on this page are all film based. Shot with old vintage Super 8 battery powered cameras or 8mm and 16mm windup cameras including a Canon 814 XL-S, Sekonic 8mm, Bolex Rex and H16 cameras, Krasnogorsk K-3 Russian 16mm film cameras and an 8mm Bolex H8. These films are a decent representation of my interest in film as a medium. Some are very abstract but still tell a story if you let them. Some are pretty straightforward and narrative and some are just nice to look at and listen to.
I have been able to use music by NIN (Nine Inch Nails) as Trent Reznor asked film and media people to create films and videos to accompany a double CD of instrumental music. Two of the pieces here, use NIN music, Friends and Ghosts I:I. Another musician who willingly let loose some music for filmmakers was Moby. I have used his music in 2 shorts as well, Numbers and Elevator (on another page)
