Hi this is just a brief introduction about how I got started and what I am doing now.

How I got started:

I was always into music from a young age, And good at sports. I used to put my mums vinyl on and put lyrics over the Reggae instrumentals and then I got into small Reggae sound systems and then in my mid teens started doing festivals and small carnivals. I got a residency at South Londons biggest under 18's called Bassology that was the first time I MC'd for Nicky Blackmarket. Back in my teens I used to hang around with MC Fat Man D and he was the one who said I should rap, It wasn't untill a few years later that I felt confident enough and built my rapping skills. After Bassology and a few other events I started doing pirate radio stations where I worked with people like Stevie A, Spidey G, D White & MC Bouncer. Through radio a band called Three Bean & Salad got to hear me and they knew some friends of mine and asked them if I would be intrested in joining the band. I said yeah and then they put me on the flyer as a special guest and I came on at the end, And from then I became a part of the band! Before I joined the band they had previously been together for around 3 years, I then met a guy called MC Five and then we was known as Three Bean & Salad & Two Brothers Bad Deemas J And Five. We played in and out of London but as they say all good things come to an end and the band split, People were getting old and wanted different things. From there I got a residency at club Labyrinth Hackney E8, Where I played with people such as DJ Krome, Food Junkie, Stingray, MC Mistry & Supplier. It was then I started flying out to such places as Guernsey to perform.

How I started to perform at the Notting Hill Carnival

Before I started doing Labyrinth I used to go Notting Hill Carnival and there was a sound called Confusion Sound St Lukes Road, For a couple of years when I attended I used to ask to go on the Mic, They used to always say No! Then one night one of the guys attended Labyrinth and said if I am at carnival this year to come and see him. So I was and they let me go on the mic and thats how I became part of Confusion Sound, I was also doing MCing at One Nation and doing their stand at Saint Lukes Road. And from there I started getting bookings for UK Garage where I was playing in Hastings & Milton Keynes. Round about 1999 I got my first Garage residency at The Gass Club/Cum Taste Da Honey In Leicester Square, As well as doing Garage at other venues. After A Year or so They stopped doing Cum Taste Da Honey and thats when I decided to go to Ibiza. Within in the first week of arriving there I landed a residency with Twice As Nice, And began hosting nights at SOUL CITY doing R&B. It wasn't until the next year that things really came together, I was doing De Ja Vu/Helter Skelter, Garage Heaven and R&B Heaven & SOUL CITY. I was also flying to Magaluf once a week to do events there too.

That was then, This Is Now

One day I had an unexpected call from MC Supplier saying would I  like to come and MC in Germany? For an event called Dubplate Business obviously I jumped at the chance! Within a few weeks we was flying out and thats where I met people such as Tristan Beale, MC Tempa, MC Motion, And MC Little Monk. It was a really good event I flew out with Baby Cee AKA Candice Mackenzie and then a few months later the phone rang it was Tristan Beale asking wether I'd like to come and play again? I said yes and then about 2-2 1/2 years later I met through Temper, Dirk Shimon. From there I started doing events like Kings Of The Jungle, One Nation in Germany and other large events such as Nature One. As well as working with these guys I have built up a good friendship with them.

How I Started making Tracks

I started in Manhiem and from there I did a track called Funky Claps which sat on the shelf for about a year. Then through Baby Cee I met a guy called DJ Tee Delight who I have become good friends with and he decided to sign the track to his label Lunacy Records and then from there I teamed up with some guys called Goldfish & The Derdulz and we did a track called Rebel Man. As well as that I am doing Garage events like Ruff But Tuff In germany and other projects.

There is so much I can tell you but I am trying to keep it as short as possible. As well as other artists I am working with Busty & Flow we have just done a track called Soul Food part of a world peace project. Also due June 2006 I have got a track called Night & Day coming out produced by my producer Obader with vocals by myself.

I hope you may find this information intresting maybe even informative. Now I am gonna come to an end.

Bigging up each and everyone!

One Love Deemas J
