Blogging is not meant to be an unlimited playground for advertisers. There is nothing wrong with banners, adwords or commercial links as long as it’s clear what visitors could expect. But as a passionated blogger, you keep your personal opinion strictly separated form commercial messages. And you will show respect to the ethical values of blogging:

To show the world my respect for the ethical values of blogging, I have registered my blog as a member of the international platform. An initiative to save the blogosphere of unwanted and misleading commercial influence. Visitors of my blog who think I do not take the ethics of blogging seriously, are invited to send their complaints to the Ethical Issues Commission of the platform for independent judgement. When this commission shares your opinion, I’ve to accept my blog is blacklisted and I may not use the banner “respecting ethical values” any longer. Amen!
