The Mother Nature and The Human Race

In this presentation I have tried to bring up the awareness of the green house effect by presenting the facts and figures to show the imminent danger this planet is facing. To achieve this objective, I have to manoeuvre the presentation from fantasy to the down to earth reality. During this process few important items effecting our day to day lives like religious & political beliefs, importance of B. B. C. Children in need appeal and use of herbal medication were high lighted. Any revenue generated by this article will be presented to the BBC Children in need appeal.
My name is Deepak. I am now retired. I used to be an Environmental Scientist during my working life. Art is my hobby. Mixing the art with the science produces spectacular results. I draw pictures on the sand of time. My pictures get blown off with the wind along with the sand and I restart with a new painting. One of the such a painting was called, ‘The Purple Dust’ which I produced in the year 2004. It was created on behalf of the, ‘BBC Children in need appeal’. It was a story of a pub called, ‘My Grandpa’s pub’. The location of the pub was in the twilight zone, situated at the back yard of the Elstree Studio by the 'Yellow Submarine'. It was a meeting place for all the space travellers. The regulars of that pub had one common interest, to help the BBC Children in need appeal. Gradually the travellers disappeared. The last person to leave was the Script Writer who put the last candle off and close the door of the pub.
The perfume
The Script writer came back from the twilight zone and restarted his life. One day to his delight he came across a dog called Chester. This guard dog was running away from his mistress because she wanted him to use glasses. Chester did not like it because other dogs were having a laugh at him. The Script writer managed to calm him down by giving him an example of Pudsey ( www.bbc.co.uk/pudsey ). It is true if Pudsey can have eye patches, why Chester can’t have glasses.
One day the Script writer went for shopping in a supermarket by the Elstree Studio, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. He parked the car in the supermarket car park and left Chester on the back seat. When he came back from the shopping, Chester was not there. Instead at the front passenger seat there was a well sealed packed marked fragile and with a note asking to open the packet very carefully.
The Script Writer carried the packet home in his car and managed to open it in an open field. This packet contained a bottle of the perfume Jicky 1889 along with a letter written in French. According to that letter the perfume bottle was the very first synthetic perfume ever made called Jicky 1889.
Jicky Perfume by Guerlain, Created in 1889 by the House of Guerlain, Jicky was the first fragrance to combine natural and synthetic essences, which makes this wonderful oriental, floral, and spicy fragrance both long-lasting and remarkable. Jicky is mainly composed of bergamot, lavender and vanilla. This perfume has some unique qualities. One can sense the fragrant after 45 minutes of the application. According to the inventor, the delayed action of sensing the presence of the fragrant was due to a masking agent present in a very minute quantity. If the masking agent was added in a larger quantity, it could produce a devastating reaction. It can make the person vanish. According to that letter to prove the point, the person had applied it on Chester. The person wanted the conten of the bottle analysed so that an antidote could be discovered.
This is where I come in. I have known The Script Writer since 1970’s. Since then I have seen him roughly once or maximum twice a every year. I discovered one thing very strange about the Script Writer. Each time I saw him, I had a feeling as if I was talking to him five minutes ago. He always had the same outfit, hair style and further more as if he has not aged. Once I told him regarding my observations. He told me in confidence that he was a time traveller. Since then we have been good friends. He gave me the bottle of Jicky 1889 along with the letter. He wanted me to get the perfume in the bottle analysed. I knew that it was a difficult and a very dangerous mission, but I gave my words that I will do some thing about it.
I was afraid to even open the bottle and I did not know what to do with it. About a year passed. No action was taken. I was very depressed about the situation. I let my friends down. When ever I am depressed, I go to a place in Hertfordshire called Bhaktivedanta Manor. It is a well knownKrishna temple.
One such a depressing day I went there to pray in that temple. It was a working a day and not many people were around except for the few devotees. I was looking at the statue of Rada and Krishna. There was a green background curtain with a beautiful scenery painted on it. It was a painting of a greenfied with a narrow country road with cows. There were peacocks, trees, plants and flowers along with singing & dancing villagers. I was looking at that beautiful painting and lost the track of time. I think I must have fall a sleep. I dreamt that I was walking on that country road. More I walked, I found my self getting dragged towards a soothing bright light.
'Get Back---' Suddenly I was stopped by a voice from the back telling me that it was a forbidden area and I should immediately go back. The person knew the reasons of my worries and suggested that I should dip the bottle in distilled water and open it under a controlled condition and then carry out the solvent extraction. After the extraction, examine the reaction of the aqueous phase on the vegetation only. I suddenly woke up and took a note of my day dream.
The Tulsi plants
I followed the instruction next day. I carried out the solvent extraction and separated the aqueous phase. I used two Tulsi plants (Ocimum Tenuiflorum) under exactly similar conditions. I disposed the aqueous extract on the soil of the one plant. On the other plant a similar quantity of the distilled water was disposed. With in next 5 days the plant which was fed with the aqueous extract doubled in the size. This was good enough observation for me to suggest that the perfume contains a water soluble compound which could accelerate the growth.
I saw the Script Writer few days after this incidence and gave him the news. That day he left in a hurry. I saw him again. It was after few months. This time he looked much older and had a different outfit on. I saw him that he could hardly walk. He told me an incredible story. First I did not believe what I was hearing. Then every thing started to sink in.
He told me how my findings helped the scientists of the future to isolate the compound. The compound had a property to accelerate the metabolism of the human race to a level that the person could disappear. However, this process could shorten their lives in comparison with our current time scale. They might live for over the 100 years mark but if compared with our time scale it will be equivalent to less than 10 days.
Our planet was in the verge of total destruction due to the green house effect . Changing the human life form to a life form of a highly accelerated metabolic state was the only solution available to save the human race. However, this had stopped the production of the green house gases in the future and the entire process of the global warming was reversed.
People were too slow to react from the threat of the global warming and it was with in the 100 years the entire spectrum of the planet changed. In the year 2100 we will only find handful of human specie as we know them today. If we will like the see the current human specie in the 100 years time, we should try to put the reverse gear now towards the global warming. It is still not too late, but it will be if we do not act at this moment.
We should ask for our selves few questions. What can we do for our mother nature before expecting the nature to do some thing for us? Why there is only one specie on this entire planet, the human race out of one and half million other species that have done so much harm to the mother nature? Was it all carried out to gain the material comforts in our lives? What we will do with all the material gains, if there will be no place on this earth to enjoy them? What we will do with the large cars, if all the roads were flooded? Since then I have been looking for these answers. Is it possible to get these answers from same place where I discovered the way to analyse Jicky 1889? Can I get a solution for the global warming from this place, ‘Bhaktivedanta Manor? Once again I went out to investigate. I am still looking into it and I think it is there, the solution for the global warming.
The Krishna Temple
Bhaktivedante Manor at Hertfordshire is a melting pot for the modern western civilisation and ancient Vedic way of life style. In that ashram there is an experimental environmental village of size 50Sq. Metre. The electricity is produce by the solar panels and wind mills. This green electricity so produced is used to pump the water in the fountain and it runs the recycling machine. The recycled green waste is used to produce the fertilisers for the plants. On the walls there are many posters attached. Some of these posters have the quotations from the different religious books. Some of these explain the scientific principles behind the recycling, biodiversity, nitrogen cycle in the atmosphere and the global warming. One these religious quotation from the teaching of the Lord Buddha made an ever lasting impact on me:
As a bee gathering nectar does not harm or disturb the colour and the fragrance of the flower, so do the wise move through the world.
When shall I come to dwelt in forest among the deer, the birds and the trees? They say nothing unpleasant and are delightful to associate with. (Taken from a guide to Bodhisattevg way of live)
Some time I wonder if the above picture of Lord Krishna with Radha in the garden of tranquillity was the place I was heading for in my day dream before I was forbidden to enter and ordered to go back by the voice from the back! If on that day I have reached there in my dream, could I have been able to come back to tell you the story of the garden of tranquillity? I am pleased to say that I have turned back and found my way in the reality. This environmental garden is the reality. This is an inspiration for all of us and could save our planet one day. This is one thing we can do for our mother nature before nature could give us a future.

The Environment & the Greener living
Now a days all the three major parties in the UK are merging towards the centre ground of the politic. Try to recognise our real enemy,‘The Green house effect’. Working towards the same goal to defeat this enemy will not only unite the world, but also save the planet. You may say I am a dreamer, but I am not the only one (Imagine).

I did meet The Script Writer once again. It was hot and humid night of in the month of September 2007 and I decided to take an early morning stroll by the sea side resort of Torquay, Devon in the West Coast of England, UK. I was surprised to see him and tried to shake his hand without realising that it was just an image. He smiled and said to me that it was just his hologram. He knew about the incidence of 4th July 2007 which I have mentioned under the reference number (7)- The Inner Light. He was living in a different galaxy and was trying to get in touch with me that day. He asked me to give the following message to my readers:
May be one day some one from the future generation will be able to solve the phenomenon of the Teleportation and make it much more simple and easy. Our children are the future generations. The way the parents bring them up in the society and provide them with the education moulds our future. The very existence of our human race depends on the citizens of the future, our children. We all have our obligations in this respect to create a better world to live in.
The hologram was only a minute or so long and I lost the image.

The appeal night for 2010 was on the Friday 19 November.
At the moment I am looking into the effect of Garlic (Allium Satvum) on the synthetic perfume. It can mask the fragrance of any perfume so far known to us. It also has many well established medical properties. It is possible that the garlic clove could counter act with the adverse effects of the masking agent which was present in Jicky 1889. One day in the near future when the problems with the green house effects are resolved, this could bring back the human species to their natural metabolic state.
The moral of the story is, 'If you want to save the
Planet - don't just make a song about it, go and do
some thing positive for it'.
