Border League Reserve KO Cup, preliminary round - The reserve team played at Glemsford & Cavendish Utd Reserves in what was a very tight match , ending 2 - 2 after extra time. Premier Division - The first team were away to University of Essex and remained undefeated, winning 4 - 2. Premier Reserve Division - The reserve team opened their account for the new season with an emphatic away win of 9 - 3, at White Notley Reserves. Greg Bryant supplied a hat trick for Notley, but was over shadowed as Edward Phillips got four, John Vitelli got two, and singles from Mark Pearce, Tristan Moseley and Josh Milburn came from Dedham Old Boys Reserves. 22nd August. The President of the club Bill Berry has announced his resignation as he is moving away from the area. The club would like to thank him for his services over a number of years. The new president is Martin Hilliard. The Stuart Fulton Memorial Trophy was won by Bawdsey Freight who beat Boxted Lodgers 2 - 0 in the final of the competition held on Saturday 4th July 2009.
