   Makimura is wearing a Japanese two-piece top and shorts  set that has stars and scarab beetles on it.  The outfit is 100% cotton.  It closes with ties like a bathrobe might have.  This is a size 100 centimeters, which works well for any doll up to 34 inches.  The shoulders have pleats and webbing as an added feature (normally meant for children who grow).

Two piece Woven Silky PJS

Turquoise and cream makes a wonderful new color combination for this pj set.  The faux frogs in front are for decoration.  The top actually has a zipper in the back, which opens wide enough to slip UP the legs and onto the arms.  Again, this is terrific for older dolls where you do NOT want to move the joints very much. It could be worn by a girl doll.  This cut is wider, and best for the chunky older Himstedts.

Unisex  Dragon 3-piece Set

    These are fun little outfits that are worn as short sleeves and long shorts for the tall dolls.  But, for older Himstedts like Makimura and Michiko, they are a perfect fit as long sleeves and long pants.  The fabric is different from any of the other clothes I carry.  It's a soft, rayon blend with embroidery done direction onto the fabric.  These are not appliques.

 Note:  Four frog closures with flower dragon embroidered directly onto the shirt.   The 3/4 sleeve length and chest size fit old Himstedts very well.  Top unbuttons completely and goes on  without  shoulder movement.  This is important to not overwork the the hinges on older dolls!

#3  Burgundy and Cream Set: This cool kid outfit has pants that are slightlong longer than the 2nd set.  The matching cap has a cream-colored satin trim with a knotted yarn braid.  There are 3 frog closures.
