Here is a document sent to me by punk7890:
They're not all the same for each actor but you can take a look around these offsets: These aren't my notes, I think they're Xu's I don't remember how I found some of mine. Some have something like FFCFFF beside where there damage is done to Link. 00 01 02 03 04 are Fire, ice, normal and knockback (not in that order) ___________________________________________________________ Every thing goes up by 19! EDE76A- Tubo Trap2 ___________________________________________________________________________________________ All the offsets given are for the Debug ROM. The data you find at these offsets follows a format something like this:
FFCFFFFF (effect type 1) (damage) 00 00
damage taken by Link when enemy attacks FFCFFFFF (effect type 2) (damage) 00 00 damage taken by Link when touching enemy next 20 bytes ??? damage = 0x04 per quarter heart
ex. 0x08 = half heart, 0x10 = whole heart effect type 1:
0x00 = nothing 0x01 = fire 0x02 = ice 0x03 = shock 0x04+= not tested
effect type 2:
0x00 = nothing 0x01 = shock 0x02+= not tested
I haven't tested if these damage effects vary with each actor though so they may not be accurate.
The damage seems to repeat quite a few times in some cases, suggesting it's repeated for different parts of the model or different 'hitboxes'. I'm not entirely sure but here's an example (Queen Gohma):
attack?number damage effect
1 8 0 2 8 0 3 8 0 4 8 0 5 8 0 6 8 0 7 8 0 8 8 0 9 8 0 10 8 0 11 8 0 12 8 0 13 8 0 If I remember correctly, the 20 bytes following this data change after each 'attack' so that might be related to which part of the model is doing the damage. |
