1946-2010

Started FSR Racing 30 years ago and still going strong. Gave all the knowledge to his 3 sons and son in law. Not the best pilot in the world, but a very fine mechanic. Pater Familias and the best help we could get. Racing in 3,5cc V. Inventor of the TPC (Tune Pipe Controller).
Passed away august 2010. R.I.P.

 

 

 

 

The Offspring

Peter Decroubele
1970

 The oldest son of Marc. Also started racing almost 30 years ago. Some Belgian Championships and the fourth place at the World Championships are his best results. Racing in 7,5cc V. Building a new boat so that his old tank can be thrown away :p

 

 

Koen Decroubele
1972
The second son of Marc. Only started racing 5 years ago, but picking it up very quickly (due to DNA I think :)) Racing in 15cc V. Started with one of my (Dries) old boats, but ow racing a Peter Pulvermuller boat.

 

1973

The husband of Marc's only daughter Iris. Started racing 13 years ago, after visiting a World Championship with the rest of the family. Racing in 15cc with a Sonic One (design Steven Kindt - Bart Drieghe). Results are better and better, with a win in Belgian Championship round 5 in Boussu last year as a highlight so far.

 

1982
Me. The 4th kid in line. Started racing when I was 7 years old, so thats 21 years ago. I'm trying to visit as much international races as possible. Not so much for the races, more for the atmosphere and the social part of racing.
Racing in 3.5cc in a Zhao Bo world champion boat.
6th place in Hannover 2011 International event as a recent highlight.
