Radio Flyer says: Need I say more?
There's still standing water in the fountain,
but that should disappear in a week or two. Let the DC '09/'10 winter
parkour season commence!

From Kurokaze's post:
It's that time of year again, the anime convention known as Otakon is
only a brief two months away and you know that means, another Otaku
Parkour Jam!
Last years Otaku Jam was a HUGE success with a good
number of people showing up (around at least 20-30), along with a few
interested people just joining in and tagging along. I decided since it
worked out so well it would be great to do it again for a 3rd year in a
row.
To name a few of the great spots we jamed at: The skywalk
network, and the buildings surrounding them, along with a SWEET
fountain that reminds one of the infamous Skyline park. Otakon this year is being held once again at he good ol' Baltimore Convention Center on the 17th-19th of July.
I
figure we'll meet at the same time, same place as last year: Saturday
July 18th at 11am Under the Skywalk(for shade purposes!), next to the
steps leading up to it. Only one end of the convention center has a
skywalk connected to it so it shouldn't be too hard to find. Here is my
phone number if anyone has any questions, or needs help finding us if
they're late or lost: 443-851-5936
P.S. All are welcome to attend, being an anime/video game nerd like us is not a requirement

We're
looking for 4 traceurs for a theatre play: 2 main and 2 understudies, or we can
break the action (but also the pay) up 4 ways.
It is a low paying job, as it's theater, but would
be a really cool experience for anyone and a chance to step right into
a very well known theater, and I'm sure the Parkour will get big
exposure in local news. Mark is doing the choreography and a little help
with structural set design.
First rehearsal is June 15.
Rehearsals 6 days a week (off one day, probably Monday nights),
6:30-11pm weekdays and during the day on Sat. & Sun (exact times
TBA) Once the show opens July 15 there are shows 5 nights a week Wed. - Sun. for 4 weeks with another four weeks possible extension.

Primal Fitness is starting "monkeying" (from the French: "singeries") classes on Friday evenings, 7pm. Travis and Leon will teach all sorts of monkey moves, spins, flips, tricks and other acrobatic fun. All levels welcome, beyond some basic Parkour or gymnastics knowledge. Sessions should be about 1h30, with a $15 fee, and totally awesome.
