Responsibilities
Your role will initially include, but will not be limited to the following: - Working with users and coordinating with application developers to understand and capture data/analysis/reporting requirements
- Creating and documenting design specifications and collaborating with the technical team
- Creating and documenting deliverable specifications with detailed database mapping
- Develop BI deliverables using Web Intelligence, Universes, Voyager, and Crystal Reports
- Support enhancements across multiple applications
- Develop ad hoc reports on demand under aggressive timelines.
- Assist with project-related activities, including the inception and definition of projects.
- Responsible for writing test cases/scripts and unit test execution. (Tests include application, network, system and user acceptance testing.)
Required Elements
- SQL Server
- SQL (development tool)
- Business Objects Expertise, including experience with the following:
- Crystal Enterprise version 10+
- InfoView version XIR2+
- Crystal Reports Designer version 10+
- Web Intelligence version XIR2+
- Universes version XIR2+
- Crystal Reports
- Windows XP
- Strong MS Office experience (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Training and presentation experience
- Ability to take little direction and achieve quality results independently.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Work well as part of a team.
- The ability to multi-task, prioritize commitments and manage time effectively.
- History of ethical performance.
Technical Competencies
- Proficient with RUP, Agile, SDLC
- Proficient with MS Office Tools (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio).
