Don Bosco Institute of Technology – MMS was launched in August 2010 as a separate Management Institution under Don Bosco Institute of Technology. DBIT - MMS has received AICTE approval and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. It is located on the DBCL (Don Bosco Centre for Learning) Campus at Kurla, near Vidyavihar station. It operates in the 2nd shift. The sanctioned intake is 60.

 

 

• Don Bosco Institute of Management & Research held a ‘Social Business Summit 2012’ on March 2 2012. The theme of the Event was ‘Creating a New Humanity’. The eminent speakers included  Chairman, Entrack International Trading Ltd., Senior Advisor, M&M,  Head of Global CSR,  TCS, Head of South Asia CSR CitiGroup, MD of Grameen Capital, Trustee  of GTL – Global Foundation, CEO, Elephant Design, NGOs  like HelpAge India, Stree Mukti Sanghatana, Sanmitra, and Avanti Fellows.  The  event  also  included an exhibition by NGOs  to put up their  stalls and  use this as  an opportunity to create  awareness among  various constituencies  about  their  work.

• Students of MMS II Sem. bagged third prize in “Super seven girls throw ball” in an event organized by Sterling college on 10^th February 2012.
• Students of MMS II Sem. bagged third prize in “Throw ball” in an event organized by SIES college at Nerul on 24^th February 2012.
• Students of MMS II Sem. bagged second prize in “Case study competition” organized by Dr. K.M.Vasudevan Pillai’s College .They also participated in a Business Managemet Quiz game on 27^th February 2012 .
• Farewell of the MMS batch 2010-12 has been organised on 5th May 2012 in the new canteen. Junior students anchored the event whereas seniors shared their experiences during these years.
