successful emergence
successful that is after I got home in time to find her (I've decided it's a she) laying on her side on the table below the chrysalis still wet. I put my hand next to her feet and she grabbed on. I then transferred her to the chrysalis where she could hang in the proper drying position (but she moved to the leaf). She stayed inside overnight, sleeping in the dark. I just took her outside this morning, still clinging to the leaf. She will take off as soon as it's light enough.
