    • I secured 2nd prize at the Technical Paper presentaion held as a part of Cognizance-2006, a nationwide technical festival.
    • Awarded the prestigious NTSE scholarship in 2001, a nationwide scholarship programme accepting only 1000 students.
    • Received merit certificate for excellent performance in CBSE board examination.

     

    Research Experience - Projects Undertaken  

     1. Development of Unified Power Quality Conditioner:

     Done a project which involves fabrication of a Unified Power Quality Conditioner (UPQC) including         MATLAB simulations as well as real time results. The UPQC actually is an integration of an active shunt filter as well as an active series filter.

    2 Development Of a sinusoidal Current Source Inverter:

        It involves the development of a sinusoidal CSI by interfacing it with a PC and using it to control the operation of an active power filter to achieve the desired operation. The current project is undergoing as part of my final year thesis.

    3. EEG signal analysis:

     EEG signals were analyzed online and digitally processed. An event corresponding to an eye blink was isolated and used for a useful function like controlling a switch.

    Internship 

    •  I did my training during the summer of 2006 as a part of the curriculum of pre-final year at Electronics & RADAR Establishment(LRDE) located at Bangalore,India.
    • Worked on MATlAB GUI programming for RADAR design

        [1] Created a virtual RADAR Scenario Generator using MATLAB GUI taking in cutomized user   

              inputs.

        [2] Created an offline programmer for a customised Microwave sensitivity Timing Control

             (MSTC) card fabricated by the signal processing group. 

     Technical Extracurriculars       

    • Winner of Roboshastra, an on-the-spot robot making competition held as a part of annual technical festival,Cognizance-2005 of  IIT Roorkee.
    • Attended a short course on JAVA and Visual JAVA conducted at IIT Roorkee. 
    • Member of Web Designing section of Hobbies Club at IIT Roorkee.

    Leadership 

    • Organised an technical event at Department level as a part of COGNIZANCE-2006.
