Landscape in Oils by Grace Makin

Davyhulme Art Club members work in a variety of media e.g acrylics,watercolour,pen and wash, chinese brush painting, pencil etc. Some members do paint in oils but not normally on club nights.

There is a varied program of activities throughout the year, with demonstrations and workshops by professional artists. The Club take part in exhibitions organised by the North West Federation of  Art Clubs and are members of Trafford Arts Association. The Club exhibit locally and exhibit annually in Woodsend Library (Flixton).

There is a friendly atmosphere in the Club and new members are always welcome whatever their level of experience. There is always someone at the Club who will help and advise. The membership fee is currently £15 per quarter which includes tea and biscuits on club nights.
