 Jack Davidson is currently in Poland and following up leads on Avram Haim Davidovitz. He is checking records in Grodzisk, and we look forward to hearing about his progress. In checking out things that might help him, Davnob discovered the census records from 1911 for Grandpa and Grandma Davidson in Hull.
 Obviously the census was taken before Minnie, Cyrie and Lionel were born. Eagle-eyed readers will note that it says here that Avram Haim was born in Plock - yet another possible location (you will recall that the Davidson elders said he was born in Chodzisk (thus Grodzisk where Jack is), and we found a possible birth certificate which gave his birthplace as Krazh near Ciechanow. Plock, incidentally, was a province in Poland as well as the former capital of the country.
