Understanding How to Get the EZ Life in the Information Age

It used to be that a young couple fresh out of high school only had to save a few years to buy themselves a house for cash.  But then over time, they raised taxes a little, watered down the currency a little, and added in a few regulations and programs "for good causes and safety".  After all that, it became a little harder to make it, so they said "well you need to go to college now".

So they went to college, improved their value, and were now able to once again to buy a home and make it.  Then over time, they raised taxes a little more, watered down the currency a little more, and added in a few more regulations and programs "for good causes and safety".  Once again it became a little harder to make it.  So they said, "well you need to finance your home and car now days".

So now they financed their car and home.  Distributed their costs over time, and were once again able to "make it".  Then over time, they raised taxes a little more, watered down the currency a little more, and added in a few more regulations and programs "for good causes and our safety".  Once again it became a little harder to make it.  So they said, "well you're wife needs to work now too".

So now she works and has her own career.  That has increased the value of the family unit, and they are now once again able to make it.  Then over time, they raised taxes a little more, watered down the currency a little more, and added in a few more regulations and programs.  Once again it became harder to make it.  And now they say, "well kids need to have tough academics from a young age nowadays"

So what do they teach our kids, the ABC's:
A) We need the fed to constantly loan out new money into the economy to keep things going (translation - they water down the money and soak us with debt)
B) We need massive government programs to provide a "safety net" and promote economic growth. (translation - we need more taxes)
C) We need government to control over those greedy corporations (translation - we need more regulations)

Well, bullshit.  The US is in the post industrial era entering into the information age.  There is no reason in the world why anybody and everybody couldn't "make it" with 3% of the effort that it used to take in the 1900's. The US does not have an education problem, or a social problem, but a freedom problem.  Solve the freedom problem and the "education" problem, "greedy" business problem, and "social welfare" problems will all solve themselves.

So we need to learn our ABC's:
A) Switch to a gold based currency, because it can't be abused, and kill the Federal Reserve system and the debt problem that goes along with them.
B) Cut back taxes and government programs by 90%.
C) Cut back government regulations by 90% too.

When China was suffering famine, and 10 of millions of people were starving in the countryside, no amount of charity could help.  But as soon as the government started to respect the farmers property rights, then the problem solved itself and 30 years of economic growth followed.  Well the same is true here, the greatest form of charity is liberty.  If we really want to have the EZ life in the information age that we deserve, then we owe it to ourselves to put our faith in the liberty necissary to make it happen.
