My name is Dav Flamerock and I am a college student attending school in New England (though I am formerly of California). I am mostly interested in science, specifically biology and zoology, and writing, of which I do a lot. I am also a huge fan of social games and puzzle solving--which is why I am a huge ARG player.

I do sing a lot as well--for 7 years I have been in the chorus of the Christmas Revels (California branch), which is basically the most amazing show ever produced.

You'll find that most of my influences and interests stem from science fiction and fantasy--my absolute favorite author of all time being the master of horror himself, H.P. Lovecraft. You will find that most of my stories, many of which are online on this site, are all science-fiction, high fantasy (like Magic: the Gathering), or Lovecraft-style subtle horror.

You'll find that I used to roleplay a lot, mostly online at sites such as Halo: Roleplaying Unlimited or Roleplaying Nexus, though I don't do much of that any more. I do play Magic: the Gathering, write, read, play video games, sing, and occasionally act. However, my favorite pasttime is playing alternate reality games.

To be brief, they are interactive, transmedia storytelling experiences that use the real world as a platform--rather than playing in a virtual setting, you are in social networks, on youtube, in chat rooms, and in the real world.
