Parametric Up Converter
PC1 was the second up-converter to allow tuning of 30kHz -> 30MHz using a 144mHz receiver or transceiver. It used a wideband diode parametric mixer. I bought one in 1984 after persuading Datong to send me servicing information, and used it briefly both as a transmit and receive mixer in a transverter application.
This was another unit that was styled in the aluminium wrap-around case.
