GETTING TO DARWIN
AIR: Qantas, Virgin Blue and Jetstar all have daily services to Darwin from most Austrlian capital cities.
RAIL: I'm told the 2 day journey on The Ghan between Adelaide and Darwin is very nice.
ROAD: Darwin is a long, long way from just about everywhere. Make sure you have plenty of CD's on hand.
GETTING TO THE MUSEUM BUS / WALK: The nearest bus stop to the Museum is located on East Point Road (Darwin Bus Service, Route 6). Hop off near Conacher Street and then walk approximatly 400 m (10 minutes) down Conacher Street to the Musuem. An adult bus fair is $2.00. Full details for Darwin Bus Services can be obtained here.
TAXI / DRIVE: Its takes approximatly 10 minutes to drive to the Museum from the CBD.
