Harry Sebastian is a successful personal injury attorney, familiar to most people in New Orleans from his ubiquitous late-night TV commercials, billboards, and newspaper ads. He is the father of David Sebastian. Born and raised in Biloxi, Mississippi, Harry Sebastian attended Ole Miss and then Louisiana State University for law school. Settling in New Orleans, Harry Sebastian started his law firm shortly after graduation. Though it first helped clients with minor traffic offenses, his law firm quickly grew and became the foremost personal injury law firm in the New Orleans area. Harry Sebastian’s trademark—worn in all of his commercials and ads—are his fedoras. One of his most widely recognized ads doesn’t even feature Harry himself, only his hat and a torn-up insurance company check. Along with the fedora, he’s often seen in photographs without a suit jacket with the sleeves of his shirt rolled up, and his suspenders are another touchstone of Harry’s look.
