Dr. Darko Anicic is a senior researcher at FZI Research Center for Information Technology-Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). His main research areas are Complex Event Processing and rule-based reasoning over streaming data. Darko is currently developing ETALIS - Event-driven Transaction Logic Inference System. ETALIS is a rule-based engine for event processing and stream reasoning. Previously he was a researcher at the University of Innsbruck where he was leading the development of IRIS - the Integrated Rule Inference System. IRIS is an open source rule-based reasoner.
