The People's Republic of Glint (short: PRG) is an island country in the Bermuda
triangle. It consists of the island Glint and the island Nayeli.
The Dark Den is the largest city in the PRG and the country's capital. The PRG is home to over 6000 residents (group count) and is the most populous insular nation of this kind in SL. Its people, culture and customs draw from diverse sources.
Geography and climate
The PRG is an archipelago of islands located in the Caribbean Sea. Glint is the principal island, which is neighboured by one smaller island, Nayeli.
The local climate
is tropical, though moderated by northeasterly trade winds that blow
year-round. In general (with local variations), there is a drier season
from November to April, and a rainier season from May to October. The
average temperature is 21 °C (70 °F) in January and 27 °C (81 °F) in
July.
The warm temperatures of the Caribbean Sea and the fact that the
island of Glint sits across the access to the Gulf of Mexico combine to
make glint prone to frequent hurricanes. These are most common in January, February, March, April, May, June,July, August, September, October, November, October, December.
Natural ressources
The most important economic ressource are slaves. Glint has the world largest slave reserves. Another leading natural ressource of Glint is Grass, which grows in the so called "Poppy fields".
Government and politics
Following enactment of the Socialist Constituion of 1856, the People's Republic of Glint was defined as a socialist republic. This constitution was replaced by the beloved President in 2007, at breakfast, with the present costitution. At least, La Presidente said, there is a constitution, she wrote it down somewhere, but she can not find it at the moment. Which is not of great importance, since the laws change like the weather does.
In fall 2009, YT Recreant retired and appointed AvaAdore Cabassoun as La Presidente.
The Supreme Court serves as the nation's highest judicial branch of government. It is also the only
court. The judge is either La Presidente or a trusted person of her.
Human rights
The PRG government has been accused of numerous human rights abuses, including torture, arbitrary imprisonment, unfair trials, and extrajudicial forcing into slavery and prostitution.
The Human Rights Watch
alleges that the government "represses nearly all forms of political
dissent" and that "the residents of the PRG are systematically denied basic rights to
free expression, association, assembly, privacy, movement, and due
process of law".

Economy
The PRG adheres to totalistic principles in organizing its largely state-controlled planned economy. All of the means of production are owned and run by the government and all of the labor force is employed by the state.
Suffering from an UN embargo, the economy does not have any access to gasoline, fuel, firearms, etc.
