           I am the author of "The Adventures of Lily" which is the first book in what I hope to be a successful series of preteen books.  I live in Wichita, Kansas with my husband and daughter.  I used to teach preschool, until in 2001 I was diagnosed with cancer.  That very same day one of my preschool students was killed in a car accident.  That day changed my life forever.  I finally came to realize that I needed to put my life in God's hands and do what he wants me to do.  I quit my job and returned to college to make a long forgotten dream a reality.  I am working on becoming a pediatrician.  While in Wichita State University, I resparked my passion of writing; which brings me back to the present.
