More Than Two Choices
Why vote for someone you don't agree with?
The media, Republicans, and Democrats will have you believe voting for anyone other than the top two parties is throwing your vote away, or you're helping to elect the other party.  There's a reason you don't want to choose one of the major candidates, so why vote for them out of fear.  Voting out of fear is the opposite of democratic.  It sounds far too much like you're voting for an oppressive regime, which too often is the case.  Why should we reward McCain or Obama with a promotion?  What have they done in Congress to make our lives better?  Absolutely nothing.  Personally, I will either write in Ron Paul or vote for Chuck Baldwin.  Either would be a giant leap above McCain or Obama.  I do not trust either of them.

What does voting for who you want to win accomplish?  It gets them one step closer to victory.  It doesn't help the other two parties out in either way.  If everyone voted for who they believed in, McCain or Obama would get nowhere near fifty percent of the vote.  We need to hold government accountable for their actions.  Promoting someone who has already proven they plan on taking this country in a direction you don't agree with gives them a green light to follow their agenda.  If they win nowhere near a clear majority, Congress will realize that they're not a popular President and blindly following their policies will be bad for their careers.
