The Livewire is an intricate part of Chicago's dance music community. As a DJ, Producer, Promoter, and Electronic Artist; he has established himself as a fundamental player of a growing society. Inside the city where house music was born, a new style is being established, and The Livewire is at the forefront of this era.

Being the once Station Manager of WZRD Chicago 88.3 fm, his radio-station has been a beacon for the new sounds and movements of the underground. Danny was known as "The Wizard" during his radio-show that is featured weekly with revolutionary political commentary, innovative mixing, live interviews/performances, and banging electro tunes from all across the globe.

Producing dance music in Chicago has given him the chance to work with some of the best in the business. Cajual/Relief Records, Prosthetic Pressings, and Kompute Musik are just some of the labels that he belongs to. He also used to promote raves with The Treehouse Collective, electro-crush parties with The Android Kult, and artistic expression with Hi-Fi Hearts.

A label is only a name though, and his real purpose is to push forward the evolution of art and technology. His sound has evolved from initially being a live pa techno artist, to now being a full-fledged DJ/Producer. Under the mentorship of Green Velvet, his dance music sound bangs as hard as it is lush.

Electro music is the best way to sum up his style, but Livewire has been known to incorporate many of the versatile elements of electronic dance music. Depending on how he is feeling the crowd, you can hear break-beats next to slamming techno music. The house music vibe propels him to bring together disco funk and distorted bangers together for a ride that is out of this world.

He describes his new style of mixing fast baselines with deep percussive sounds as Death House, with a lighthearted flair. Just like what death metal was with rock-n-roll, The Livewire has taken the grind to house music. Vocal arrangements are a must and vintage sounds are key. Glitch patterns are also used extensively as he is an International Circuit Bender in his spare time as well.

While sound and music is his main thing, he is also known to make an appearance as a VJ, and on the rare occasion perform VJing and DJing at the same time!
