I love flex hoses.

When the kitchen was empty, we pre-plumbed for the dishwasher.  We already had shut off valves on the hot and cold and for the dishwasher.  We added another for the dishwasher, because it was threaded for the flex hose from the dishwasher.

The rest of the plumbing was normal, tight in the cabinet and where it really helps to have flex hose.  We opted to bring the dishwasher drain in from the top, and the water in from the bottom, it looks cleaner and is best to had the high loop for the dishwasher drain to avoid a dry drain.

While this took over 3 hours to complete, it also included the dishwasher installation.  The only really challenge was the space and the smell of the drain sewer gases for the 20 minutes the drain cover was off.
