After Thoughts

We opted to arrange for cabinet installation, with help from IKEA.

We wanted to save the time and have it done right.  We also paid for the measuring to be completed by the installer.

This was a great idea.  Our installer Charles of Cabinets  Plus suggested some great options to our plan.

He brought out the high cabinet and above fridge to be level with the fridge base.  It looks much better.  He also suggested using the Kompliment PAX draws, usually used in the closet area as draws for the high cabinet.  They needed to be cut down but worked really well.

It took Charles 3 days total to install with the counter top, with a hole cut for the sink.  It went by really quick.  We noticed that day one, he had all the cabinets together and pretty much in place.  The next 2 days were spent securing them in place and adding the door hardware and shelves and filler strips.
