Greetings
from the last frontier! I have lived in Juneau, Alaska since
1998. I currently work for the Alaska
State
Library. I don't use a psuedonym
in my Internet life for three reasons:
- I am passionate about openness and transparency.
- It tends to keep my online postings more polite and fact-checked.
- I firmly believe that a well motivated individual or agency can break any psuedonym.
- My Resume - It shows the ten years of my professional life since I started library school at UT Austin.
- Our Photos - I've been married over 14 years, and my spouse and I take pictures now and again.
- Living in Alaska - A page with links for people considering moving to Alaska. If you just want to visit, I suggest the official tourist site.
- Projects pages - A list of work and personal projects I'm involved with.
- Blogs - Almost every librarian has one or more these days. Here are mine:
- AlaskanLibrarian - A librarian living in Alaska talks about Alaska, libraries, neat resources, government documents, and sometimes politics, religion and photos (usually mine) from Flickr. - RSS Feed
- Free Government Information - "Daniel-Specific" FGI Blog - RSS Feed
- MySpace Blog - RSS FEED
