Enthusiastic and versatile young Irish composer and arranger, with a 1st class ![]() honours in Music from Queen's University, Belfast. I write in a variety of styles, from contemporary concert hall to accessible new music for brass/concert band and music for film, game, and other media. Over the years, I've become experienced at arranging for all kinds of ensembles. I have had pieces performed throughout Ireland, Britain, as well as places further afield, such as Portugal and the USA. I've also had the privilege of working on my music with players from the Philharmonia, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, and the Plane Dukes Rahman Trio. I have received two Foundation Scholarships from Queen's University, and won the Hedy King Robinson Prize for music theory in 2007. As well as composing, I enjoy playing chamber music on piano or trumpet. |
