Washer Pump Repair. Dishwasher Electrical Connection. Washer Pump Repair
hooray for small victories My first weekend for tinkering, no big achievements but lots of little ones, all basically for free: - The mysterious clunking in the back turned out to be a loose seat belt that someone had installed in the back where there is no seat. Threw that out. - Fixed the dead instrument lights by soldering a wire across the terminals of the dead dimmer control (never want to dim those down anyway) - The dead horns turned out to be the horns themselves: swapped the aftermarket horns out of my Scion and put the OE horns back in that. Now they both work, but the Scion sounds Japanese again. - Had to remove the steering wheel in the course of both of the above, so put it back on straight - Cleaned out the windshield washer nozzles and secured the hoses - Cleaned up the special wheel-lock socket so I can now change a tire if I have to - Freed up the seat adjusters and repaired a broken height adjuster SO: now I can reach the pedals, see the speedometer, wash the windshield and blow the horn! Also found the source of the gasoline smell, there's some gas leaking out of the fuel pump - so that will have to be replaced. I'm taking it in tomorrow to have the engine checked out & see what else I'm looking at, but so far things are looking pretty good! DSC 0083a1
Step 15: Work the shoud in gently until it lines back up this the shoud bolt holes and install the shroud bolts. The fan can rest in the shroud while the shroud is installed. Then install the fan assembly to the pulley. The fan assembly is held in place on the water pump pulley by four bolts that have integrated lock washers.
