Welcome! This is Dana Johnson's History Website, where you can read about my professional skills and interests. I am currently completing my M.A. in Public History at the University of Western Ontario. This website provides information about my academic interests, research projects and professional skills, and links to my various online endeavours.

Born May 14th, 1985 in Red Deer, Alberta; lived in Edmonton, Alberta for the last six years; currently residing in London, Ontario

Interests include: traveling (have traveled extensively throughout Europe and the States, including Scotland, Ireland, England, France, Holland, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Hawaii, California, Washington, Oregon and Montana); playing pool; spending time with friends and family

Education: Honours B.A. in History, University of Alberta (2003 - 2007); Honours M.A. in Public History, University of Western Ontario (2009 - 2010).

Work experience includes: Lambton County Fellow at the Oil Museum of Canada (April 2010 - August 2010), research-intensive four-month internship; heritage designation report in conjunction with the London Advisory Committee on Heritage; lesson plan design for the award-winning website EcoKids; RAD inventory creation for London Life; various writing projects, including my own blog and guest blogging for activehistory.ca and Canada's History Magazine's Education page.
