Students have just finished their Dear America projects.  They received their biography books today on a variety of well known men and women.  Reading these books, students will discover how their lives and works touched so many others in such a positive way.  They will present their knowledge gathered about these people of interest to  the class in a variety of ways.

Students will continue to work on figurative language, context clues, predicting, main idea and other comprehension skills.

SOCIAL STUDIES

We are in the midst of the American Revolution and discovering that this event was not just about signing a piece of paper.  The bravery of many men and women gove their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor to this cause.
