The Dallas County 4-H program offers a wide range of activities for youth of all backgrounds. 4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship and life skills! It's purpose is to prepare today's youth for tomorrow's challenges by developing responsible, capable and involved leaders and citizens. The goal of 4-H is accomplished by providing educational experiences for young people to gain knowledge, develop life skills, live healthy lives, make intelligent choices and form positive attitudes/values that they will rely on throughout their lives.
Dallas County youth can participate in 4-H in a variety of ways, through traditional, project or special interest clubs, school and community enrichment, or through after-school programming. Adult and community leaders can volunteer by assisting with community project, leading 4-H clubs and much more!
