IMPORTANT NOTE: Dallas ISD must have field trips confirmed by September 30, 2009! Make sure to get your information a.s.a.p. so we can confirm your date. Farm Day is an educational learning excursion for private, public and home school youth in the 4th grade. Only registered youth may attend. Registration Packet attached below. Teachers Download the Farm Day application packet and send a completed copy to the Dallas County AgriLife Extension Office, no later than October 16, 2009. See the Contact Us page for mailing and fax information. All applications are taken on a first come first serve basis, so reserve your spot today! School confirmation will be sent out in October 20, in order for you to secure transportation. Confirm receipt of application. List will be updated weekly starting October 23, 2009. Dallas ISD schools will be posted by September 29, 2009. Parents/Guardians Discuss this activity with your local school administrator and encourage your school to join the Farm Day experience. Community Members AgriLife Extension is always looking for dedicated volunteers to help facilitate groups, educational presentations and distribute lunch at Farm Day. Contact the Dallas County AgriLife Extension Office to find out how to volunteer. All volunteers must complete a volunteer application and pass a background check, which costs $10.
