A summary is also included in the Help provided with both the desktop and mobile versions, in case you forget!

Inline Formatting

Surround the text with...

Headings

Remember to start the line with...

•     +             +heading 1
•     ++            ++heading 2
•     +++           +++heading 3
•     ++++          ++++heading 4
•     +++++         +++++heading 5

Lists

Remember to start the line with...

•   -             - bullet point
•   --            -- indented bullet
•   ---           --- very indented
•   #             # numbered list
•   ##            ## indented number
•   ###           ### very indented
  

       etc.

Tables

Remember to start the line with...

•   |             create a table 

Use the same character (the vertical bar | ) to separate out cells in a table. 

For example:

 | Each | of | these | words | in | it's | own | box

Horizontal Line

Remember to start the line with...

Blockquote

Remember to start the line with...
