  • The State of New Mexico established and supports Local Behavioral Health Collaboratives which cover all regions of the State. The effort grew out of Federal initiatives to positively transform the country's behavioral health system. The role of the Collaboratives is to advise those Secretaries of the State Departments that have responsibility for the delivery of behavioral health services. This advise focuses on the local services needs, broadly taken, of children, adults and families who are impacted by psychiatric disorders and substance abuse.

  • Our Mission is to improve the quality, quantity and access to behavioral health services in Doña Ana County and to accelerate, extend and maintain recovery. The State views the Local Collaboratives primarily as a vehicle for consumers and their families to communicate their opinions, criticism, level of satisfaction with services and recommendations for improving those services. Our success depends upon your active involvement.

  • On these pages we intend to post notices of relevant meetings, conferences and trainings in as timely a manner as possible. Please be patient with us as this is a new endeavor being undertaken by a novice Webmaster. In time, we will be adding links to web sites of interest to our membership.
