Software

A personal choice of compatible software encoders and codecs are included in the d2mp full install package: quenc, ffmpeg, dvdauthor, dgindex, avisynth, avisynth plugins, ffdshow and xvid.
Other compatible software (i.e: hcenc) and codecs (i.e: mkv splitters) must be installed in the system BEFORE INSTALLING D2MP.
All needed software is free. So, you don’t need to lost time searching for it on the web, and installing it.

a) QUENC (http://nic.dnsalias.com/QuEnc.html) - best speed / quality;
b) FFMPEG - the fastest, good quality, very versatile, many options;
b) HCENC - also very good speed / quality;
c) AQE (http://www.autoqmatenc.com/).

Additional software:

 Usually you should install this software. It is also FREE and included in d2mp installation package:

1. Video codec for reading the AVI files:
·  If you can already see the AVI movies in your PC, you probably have already the right codecs.
·  If not, I suggest using XVID (http://www.xvidmovies.com/codec/)
·  And also ffdshow ( http://www.free-codecs.com/download/FFDShow.htm)



Optional Software:

D2MP is also prepared to work with the trial versions of Cinema Craft Encoder, from Custom Technology Corporation (http://www.cinemacraft.com/).
With this software you will achieve the maximum quality and conversion speed, but with some limitations, and also the highest software price:

a) CCE-SP trial versions up to 2.67.x – use ECLCCE

ECLCCE allows the loading of ecl configuration files in the 2.50, 2.66 and 2.67 versions of Cinema Craft Encoder CCE-SP.
With ECLCCE there will also be possible to minimize Cinema Craft (impossible to do otherwise).Note: you need to configure ECLCCE prior to usage within D2MP.

b) CCE-SP trial version 2.70.02.04

c) CCE-SP trial version 2.70.01.xx

Same as above but you will need to edit Template270.ECL with Notepad and edit the first line to replace the word "trial" with "works".

Note:
I have only tested the trial version of CCE-SP. If someone that owns the full version could test it with D2MP, please give me feedback. I believe that for working, the first line of the Template270.ECL should be edited and replaced for the one that the full version generates.
