One of the five Biblical purposes is Outreach and at Cypress Church we love to "Reach" our community through serving others.  There are many opportunities throughout the year.

Cypress Church Ministry Opportunities:
  • "Reach" Base Coach & Assistant: Organize outreach activities.
  • Publicity Writer: Prepare news releases and submit to local print media.
  • Blogger: Write about Cypress Church and post news articles to blogs.
  • Facebook/Twitter Assistant: Post frequesnt updates to Cypress Church social utility pages.
  • Calendar Assistant: Keep internet calendars current.
  • Cypress Festival Team: Prepare materials for Cypress Festival, set-up & staff our booth in July each year.

Community Service Opportunities:
  • Cypress Community Festival Committee - Ongoing - Plan and put on Cypress Community Festival.
  • Cypress Community Festival - 7/23/2011 - Assist w/Festival - 6 am - 6 pm (There are 2 and 4 hour shifts available).
  • Cypress Recreation Dept. - Ongoing - Clean parks and paint park benches and equipment.
  • Cypress Recreation Dept. - Spring each year - Clean up Nature Park and prepare for summer season.

Serve with the Knights of the Holy Grill: The Knights provide food service for community events.

Food Drive: - The We Care agency and local food banks are in need of supplies - bring food on Sunday morning.
The Cypress Church "Reach" Ministries Team maintains many web pages, blogs and internet based calendars. The primary purpose of the "Connections" site is to help our Cypress Church family find Bible studies, Worship Services, ministries, volunteer opportunities, activities, events and information.
