These images show the elevations along the London to Brighton bike ride route with mile markers along the top. There are only four real hills on the route: 1) How Lane in Chipstead 2) Church Hill past Nutfield Marsh 3) Turners Hill and 4) The 'Green Monster' Ditchling Beacon. As you can see from the image at the bottom The Beacon makes the others pale into insignificance.
Also note the long drag from Carshalton to Woodmansterne and the worse one from Lindfield into Haywards Heath. If you complete the ride, you will have
ascended all of these... but remember, don't push too hard... select low gears and spin the pedals smoothly... and just keep going!
