These guidelines pertain to all the oral presentations, but not to the Workshops presenters who have presentation periods of different lengths. The standard presentation period is 15 minutes long. The current schedule, available for download at www.e-therapy.info will confirm your own presentation time.
Please rehearse accordingly.
Fifteen minutes of discussion are scheduled at the end of each sessions. Moderators are asked to keep speakers on time. Please be mindful of the schedule and adhere to it. (Your colleagues will appreciate this). The meeting room will have single-screen LCD projection. Note that the CT14 team prefers that you upload your material onto their PC computer for projection.
There will be no speaker-ready room. Please bring your laptop if you need to edit your presentation while at the conference.
The usb-key given you at the registration will include each presenter's abstract submitted during the Call for Papers. If this is your first time at CT14, we recommend that the introduction / background portion of your lecture focus on the issues at hand.
Please do not spend time explaining broad or historical issues that will be familiar to most participants.
If you are unable to give your presentation, PLEASE notify us right away. We can offer your lecture time to another presenter and adjust the program in advance
of the conference.
On the following page of this document are audio-visual support guidelines provided at the conference site.
Please let us know if you have questions. Thank you! Audio/Visual Guide for Presenters

During the poster session, you will stand with your poster to explain your research to attendees and answer questions. After the session, your poster remains up all day so conference attendees can view it. Please take down your poster at the end of the day. 7) In addition to your traditional poster, we invite you to give a corresponding laptop-based demonstration in “The Cyberarium” (look at the website for details). This type of demonstration is optional. 8) There will be a contest for the best student’s poster presentations. Winners will receive a prize (look at the website for details). Winning posters will also receive the opportunity to display their posters on Tuesday. |
