  • Tuesday, April 14th – Karen Johnston - “Catholic Charities – who we are, what we do”
  •  Tuesday, May 12th  – Fr. Jim Nielson - “Images of Mary”

Fr. Jim is a Norbertine priest as well as an art teacher at St. Norbert College.  Priest as artist might be a combination some find mystifying. Within the Order, however, the mix follows from the question, ‘what is it that gives you life and what can you then return to the Church?’ This is very Norbertine and a very inclusive view of how to be Church and how to celebrate the presence of Christ in the world. Beauty and its understanding, intellectually and spiritually, is a way of doing that.” For Father Jim, practicing the visual arts is both prayer and “catalyst for discerning God’s will.”
