The Crescenta Valley Arts Council is proud to present our fifth annual music Bash!  This year we’re paying homage to one of the world’s favorite composers with a spectacular program featuring works by the master Ludwig van Beethoven.  Professional musicians will perform alongside accomplished local student musicians to regale the community with yet another unforgettable concert.  You won't want to miss this!  Please visit us at CrescentaValleyArtsCouncil.org.

CVAC Paint Out 2011


Paint Out 2011

        Local artists captured the essence of the Crescenta Valley in the second annual Paint Out, sponsored by the Crescenta Valley Arts Council. Plein air artworks depicting flora and fauna, landscapes and iconic images of the Crescenta Valley were exhibited at historic St. Luke's of the Mountains Episcopal Church on November 5 and 6. California Art Club artist and legendary teacher Margot Lennartz helped spearhead the event, and her son, renowned California Art Club artist Frank Lennartz, along with artist Junn Roca, a signature member of the California Art Club and Oil Painters of America, judged the competitions. Winners were announced at a wine and cheese reception, where members of the community were able to meet the artists and enjoy the exhibition together. Some artworks were sold, and anyone wishing to purchase a painting from Paint Out may contact the Crescenta Valley Arts Council for further information. Click for the list of winners!
