2012 Beethoven Bash

Beethoven Bash 2012

Our fifth annual music Bash paid homage to one of the world’s favorite composers with a spectacular program featuring works by the master Ludwig van Beethoven.  Professional musicians performed alongside outstanding local student musicians in yet another unforgettable concert.  Program director Leticia Strong, Los Angeles Philharmonic (viola) compiled a diverse program of symphonic and chamber pieces, with participation from members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and other professional orchestras, as well as Crescenta Valley High School (Matthew Schick, conductor) and Rosemont Middle School (Rod Yonkers, conductor).  It was the chance of a lifetime for our local talented students to perform with world-class players in masterworks such as Beethoven's Symphonies No. 4 and 5, and Fidelio Overture.  The audience was riveted throughout the jam-packed program, amazed by the talents of composer and performers!
