--looove #11 X-acto blades --the paper used on this is just the colored paper that you can buy by the foot off of the reams at a craft/art supply, it is about 3 feet wide & was $1 yard. Dick Blick art supply also sells even larger rolls of colored paper on-line...which has been insanely tempting to do a HUGE piece in :) --the colored papers tend to not want to cut as easily as the white butcher paper I usually play with, so you'll eat through more blades (and patience)

jamie and i got our hairs cut by frankie @salon pop & barber shop in long beach...i LOVE him b/c he's a former bay area resident (notably @bladerunner's) and does awesome, piece-y cuts. he has a hot tat on his right hand of a pair of shears with a heart and ribbon that reads "cut u good." i am in full agreement...
