Becoming a CU Triathlete

Any member of the CU community is welcome to join the team including faculty, staff, undergraduate and graduate students. We welcome everyone regardless of ability. Some of our athletes have never finished a triathon before, others compete nationally and go on to be professional triathletes. Note that due to USAT rules only full-time students whose age on Dec 31 2010 is 28 years or younger can compete in the national competition. 

Our first meeting of the year will be held at 7:00pm in Benson 180 on Tuesday September 1, 2009.

Come to a couple team events and workouts to see if the team is a good fit. If you'd like to join dues are $100 per year. Dues include access to professional coaching by D3, subsidized team events/competitions and discounts/freebies from our 15-odd sponsors.

To participate in any team event you must complete the the club sports liability waiver /first/. The waver is available at team meetings, at the Club Sports office at the Rec center and from officers at the first couple team workouts.
