Lowering the passing grade to 70%

It has been suggested to the committee to lower the passing grade to 70% for future incoming classes. This would not affect any current classes.

Stage of proposal:
Waiting for decision from administration in Gardner.

Pro's:
Even distributions of students across all grades.
It helps our grades become more directly comparable to North American medical schools.
Increasing the gap between a failing grade and a B to larger than 5% (3 questions on most tests).

Con's:
Unnecessary lowering of SUSOM's academic standards.
