Answers regarding "administrative" academic probation.

Recently students have been placed on what has been termed "administrative" academic probation. Students have expressed concern as to how administration can adopt and apply a new policy so quickly with seemingly no boundaries or explanation as to how this policy was made.

This topic has been brought up to Dr. Stewart. The decision that was made to pass students that had a final grade of less than 75% was made by the owner of the school. The reasoning was that there were extenuating circumstances last semester (such as the school wide meeting) that may have been disproportionately distracting to first semester students.

Explanations regarding the ability of administration to haphazardly create and apply new policies were not available.
