High School Memory Script

Sam: Hello Dr. Gen… we meet again… didn’t recognize me? It’s Sam Nusbaum.

Taylor: And I’m Taylor Hughes. We’re here to tell you about our favorite high school

    memory.

Sam: Ah, yes, our favorite high school memory… Mr. Hughes, would you happen to

have any idea what that memory is?

Taylor: Why, Mr. Nusbaum, I believe I could provide a situation, if you’d be willing to

follow me on this epic adventure.

S: Could you possibly be referring to the time we hiked up halfdome in Yosemite

    National Park?

T: Nay, my friend. I am referring to the time we golfed off of Halfdome deep in the forest

    of Yosemite National Park?

S: Ah, yes, how could I forget such a venture? If my memory serves me, and I believe it

Does, I believe that was just last summer.

T: Yes, we started out early, golf club in hand. Everyone scoffed at us for such a

preposterous notion. But we knew the task at hand: a 13 mile trek through the

savage wilderness, summiting peaks and climbing steel cables to the top.

S: We minimized the amount we took, and calculated the amount of water we would need

at its bare minimum. It was four of us on this venture: us two, Cathy Broderick, and Kelsey Shilling. It was a hard climb to the top.

T: Once we arrived, we teed off on the top. Men were awestruck at our innovative

idea. We then departed, showing the meaning of haste to those around us.

S: On our descent back to base camp, we found that we underestimated our water supply

and ran out. Tears would have been shed, had we the water in our systems. We labored, miles upon miles, our thirst unquenched.

T: When we finally reached base camp, it was a memory we knew we would not soon

    forget.
